Favored by Batlegods who posted another song from the same album, I found this other beautiful song with a typical big solo sound of the time and still evergreen, which has certainly paved the way for hundreds of guitar-playing imitators from all those bands that were forming in the meantime in every respectable basement of the peninsula and beyond. ;) New Trolls - 1972 UT - 05 Nato adesso

THE LOVES by Toto Cutugno is a shitty song
but Ray Charles said, listen, it’s not that bad...

Sensi e controsensi del 75 is definitely one of Mia Martini's three most beautiful albums, with amazing melodies and an infinite voice, and yet I keep wondering about the reason behind such a text, a product of a ridiculous and annoying female submission. I wonder why she accepted to sing such a horrible text. They could have woven something much better on a similar melody, but so be it...

I've always thought that Steve Reich's practice could survive even without the political-social message, which has always seemed to me to be superfluous and sycophantic (with the Pulitzer as a seal). Whether it's the ghettos of Harlem, the trains of deported Jews, or the attack on the Twin Towers, Reich has demonstrated an "Italian" vision (I'm thinking of Nono, above all) of music as a socio-political educational department. His works on phasing, counterpoint, and the brilliant idea of "Pendulum music" interest me more. The fact is that Donald Trump declares himself a fan, and Reich's perspective seems Siberianly distant from this rosy guy's political manifesto. Fact Magazine writes: "Trump, change ghostwriter." Wise words. Steve Reich - Come Out (Original Ver.)

MY FAVOURITE 60's MINOR CLASSICS - Manfred Mann - Semi Detached Suburban Mr James (HQ)

Avant-garde texts. Few artists have the courage to denounce over the decades, like Neil. Even now that technocracies, the powers of derivatives, business, and corporations are trying to deliver the final blow.
"Corporations have feelings, corporations have soul
That's why they're like people just harder to control
They don't want to fall, so when they fall, they fall on you
Too big to fail, too rich for jail"
"In some way, we will regain control, but now, how can we
reclaim our freedom, lost due to our own laws,
which we must abide by...
when will we reclaim our freedom to choose
the way to live and die."
Here is a brave artist, tough who is not afraid.
