"A Judge"
"What does it mean to be a meter and a half tall?
Your eyes and the remarks of people reveal it to you
Or the curiosity of a cheeky girl
Who approaches you only for her impertinent doubt
She wants to find out if it's true what they say about dwarfs
That they are the most endowed with the least obvious virtue
Among all the virtues, the most indecent
The years, the months pass, and if you count the minutes too
It's sad to find yourself an adult without having grown up
Gossip insists, the tongue beats on the drum
Until it declares that a dwarf is certainly a scoundrel
Because their heart is too, too close to the hole in their ass
It was during sleepless nights kept awake by resentment
That I prepared for my exams, became a prosecutor
To embark on the path that from the benches of a cathedral
Leads to the sacristy and then to the desk of a court
Judge at last, arbiter on earth of good and evil
And so my stature no longer brought good humor
To those standing at the bar saying "Your Honor" to me
