Michael Chapman - Aviator (2011 Remaster)

A brief (but not too brief) exploration of the soundscapes and dark corners of a storyteller and his guitar. 4

Say Georgia
The Beatles of St. Louis. Another nugget from the web. The intro is the same as Oh Darling #Sunshinepop

Psychedelic Suns - This moment
PSYCHEDELIA FROM FINLAND

Codeine - Frigid Stars LP (Full Album Visualizer HD)
A historic record, if only because it opened the way to that hellish circle that has been dubbed by musical thinkers "Slow Core" or even worse "Post Rock."
Either way, it's a great work rich in electric emotional implosions.
"Spiderland" is from the following year, and from that moment on, a myriad of copycat bands were born, many of which were united only by sheer boredom.
You cannot escape it.

John Mayall Dies at Age 90 - The Laws Must Change Remembered
A great musician has left us, and I like to remember him like this, fully in blues. Bye John.

Immensità (Suite) (Il sogno, la realtà, lo spazio, il tempo)
#summercleaning
I don't understand why he's so overlooked in Italy, a singer-songwriter that smells so much of the 70s, with prog and psychedelic influences.
He deserves a lot.
I think he would do well in France.

King Hannah - John Prine on the Radio (Official Audio)

#onealbumamonth June 2024, and a bit of July, with Hannah and Craig

Pink Floyd - When You're In (Official Audio)

Ammé reminds me of the riff from a song by an old bend harderock band that just released a new album with the new guitarist who replaced one Stefano Morselli.
Who copied whom?
I’m not one for compulsive fact-checking, and I certainly don’t feel like looking up the date, time, and minute of release; not to mention tracing back to the name of whoever might have passed by and spied on the track.

I’m sure all of this will be notoriously known here. Yuk!

John Mayall - My Pretty Girl (1971) we have lost a giant of European music. R. I. P. John and thank you for your blues❤

The Bright Dark - The Passage (2024) (New Full Album)

Sometimes complicated for the sake of complicating, yet well made, well played, well produced, and very varied.

Saudades de Coimbra (Fado) - Verdes Anos
Portuguese blues. I love it so much.
(they sang and played such beautiful things and were ruthless colonizers.) well...

I'm With You
Without the internet, nuggets like these would be lost, neither covers nor tributes better than copy bands. Echoing the Fab Four in the early Sixties was fashionable #sunshinepop

Jet - Barbed Wire
Here are the singers that send me into orbit, way better than Taylor Swift 🧋
