Ace of Base (All That She Wants)
This 'multipla' is the only version I found with something resembling a cover.
So.
It was '93, maybe '94 at most, or thereabouts.
There was that Cucciolone commercial, some might remember.
With that pretty boy who looked like someone from Beverly Hills 90210.
Who said that the Cucciolone wasn’t the usual little snack you could finish in 5 bites, because the Cucciolone had to be eaten in 10 bites TEN.
He was emphatic when he pronounced that TEN.
I hated him and I didn’t understand why anyone would think you should finish it in 10 bites when the whole point was to make it last longer.
But no, for him you had to finish it in 10 bites. TEN.
I would finish it and I still do in many more bites, always starting from the lighter part, the vanilla one.
Always after reading the little scenes on both sides, which after a while (a little) repeat.
'Oh yes, but I’ve already read this...'
I associate this song with that period, with the pretty boy from Cucciolone, with Beverly Hills 90210.

Faust'o Rossi - Il lungo addio claudio chianura:
the work on the song titles was completely detached from the work on the lyrics; once the writing was done, the search for titles was as elusive as possible in relation to the content of the lyrics... some compromises were made here and there for the more radio-friendly tracks... (on YT the video is uploaded by Andrea Russo. He collaborated with Fausto in the 2000s. He died in a tragic accident in 2014 E' morto Alessio Russo, batterista della band comasca "7grani"
