Charles Douglas a.k.a. Alex McAulay is a US producer and writer. This record here is produced by Moe Tucker (VU): the perfect intersection of Lou Reed's poses and Daniel Johnston's minimalism.

You should be able to find it online (the album came out in the nineties, and I would define it today as a kind of cult object) without too much difficulty.
