#zot2017 is tinged with decadent tones and atmospheres in this EP by Foreign Resort.

The Foreign Resort - Part Time Punk Sessions (Ignition Age, November 24, 2017)

An EP by Foreign Resort, a band from Copenhagen, Denmark (led by frontman Mikkel Borbjerg Jakobsen), drastically oriented towards a minimalist dark-wave aesthetic with a punk attitude and at times obsessive post-industrial rhythms. This little disc opens immediately with "Onto Us," which at times could even evoke the more obsessive sound of Suicide, complemented by post-industrial echoes that are somewhat typical of the dark-wave genre as it is presented today. The rest, while catchy, is not particularly original and follows the same formula with evident references to Joy Division in "Suburban Depression" and "Take A Walk," while "Dark White" is clearly an Interpol piece influenced by certain hardcore sounds inflated by mainstream music a decade ago... although at times you might also hear something reminiscent of Jamie Stewart. Ultimately interesting, but not that much: I feel like I'm teetering on the edge of something that could be good or not. Only this time the scales are decidedly tipping to one side, so I think it’s best to let it go. However, if you like the genre, it’s recommended as it could open the doors to this band, which is doing quite well and is definitely better than the general average of these irreducible late dark-wave acts.

Peter Grant - Led Zeppelin
New book on Grant.
Clearly, this one won't be translated either, so you'll have to tell me about it ahahahah.
No point in reminding that this fat bastard turned everything upside down and if the managers that came after made a lot of money, they owe it to him...
A bad ending for him too, only with the demons... no more Bonzo and the ā€œcreatureā€...

Homesick for Space - Tonight I Awake the last 4 minutes are the most disgustingly '90s emo thing imaginable

gary burton - 1. - the opening - shovels - the survivors - grave train

Jazz Legends - The Second Lines (7 of 100) Gary Burton

Vasco Rossi Live in Sanremo 1983 Vita spericolata
Sanremo 83.....if Pupo finished last, the complete embarrassment was manifested for the second-to-last place.

PUPO: CIELI AZZURRI [1983]
Sanremo 1983...but it’s at the bottom of the Big rankings that the tragedy and injustice unfold...Pupo last, and no one understands why!

Margherita Non Lo Sa - Dori Ghezzi | Full HD |
your curiosity about who takes the podium is quickly satisfied... the beautiful and talented Dori with one of the few acceptable songs... but doesn’t it remind you of Johnny and Mary by Palmer? ...anyway, an all-female podium

CECIL TAYLOR, Conquistador (Part 1)

A giant of Jazz departs, Cecil Taylor, one of the last extraordinary talents of the old guard.
From the very beginning, he offered music that was free and liberating for anyone who wanted to drink from this tumultuous and ever-uncompromising source. Cecil was always consistent with himself, proposing an art that was never just an end in itself, but a ray of light toward the future, an open door to cross over to new expressive forms.
Cecil was generous; he "worked" for his own cravings and intimate emotions, but he also did it for others, with his unique style, defined in the environment and among enthusiasts as "elbow piano," where harmonization was made up of clusters of solid-shaped notes that fell to compose a series of melodic interlocks, coalescing into a holistic picture with a miraculous quality due to the perpetual precariousness (to the ear) with which it remained balanced without ever falling apart.
A master in the use of dissonances and a chemist in measuring out intervals of silence to the point...of making them "sound" as well, all punctuated by a percussive, skewed, angular, violent, and colluding style in the dual role of evocative melody and rhythm.
He leaves behind a staggering discography for its freshness and the peaks reached, summarizable in titles like "Conquistador," "Unit Structures," "The World of Cecil Taylor," "Winged Serpent," "3 Phasis," and many others.

Cecil Taylor: 1929 - 2018

So Long.

Donatella Milani - Volevo Dirti - Sanremo 1983
Sanremo '83...legendary second place to the fierce Donatella Milani....a disastrous and lackluster little song that speaks volumes about the quality of the podium....

Papa M - Long may you burn

I don't know if David Lynch knows this piece, if not, he's definitely missed one of his favorite tracks!

TIZIANA RIVALE: SARA' QUEL CHE SARA' [1983]
I'm back with a nice discussion from last night about listening to Bertin Osborne, one of the gems from Sanremo 1983 that, as promised, we will try to revisit... at great request. Starting off strong with the winner in a languorously disconcerting piece!

The Wake - 07 - Melancholy Man The piece that any dream pop band of the 2000s has yet to create, and who knows if they'll ever manage to do so. I Wake are a band that hit the mark with the beautiful "Here Comes Everybody" and "Melancholy Man," while the rest is a pleasant, but at the same time forgettable, copy-and-paste from New Order’s "Movement."

Infant Annihilator - Decapitation Fornication [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO] [HD]
They say they are decidedly promising in the strictly Pop field.
But I wouldn't be too convinced.

Rammstein Du Hast Live England. (HD)

The less known soul with the distortion and the synth of Uncle Dislo.
