KRISMA + Iceberg + 04 - Signorina And so dear Arcieri showed everyone what he could do with ambient, even with vaporwave. The synth fluxus in this piece is something absurd. Ethereal, dreamy, paradisiacal, aphrodisiac. Special!

"But first I had to get through the bachelor party. It was just me, John Bonham, and a driver. We went to quite a few bars, and before we entered the last one, John said, ā€˜Let’s have one last drink.’ Alright, one last drink... he had twelve bottles of champagne and twelve glasses lined up on that damn bar and told the bartender: ā€˜Pour!’ I thought he wanted to buy drinks for the people in the bar... instead, he said: ā€˜It’s for you’ fuck you John, I’m getting married this morning. If I drink this stuff, you won’t see me tomorrow. ā€˜Well then, I’ll drink it myself.’ Which he did, and within an hour he was in a stupor... he got into a fight and rolled the owner down the stairs... we managed to get him in the car... at his house Pam wouldn’t let him in right away but eventually she was convinced. We brought John inside and I said to him, ā€˜You’re gonna make it in a few hours, right?!’ He gave me a thumbs up saying, ā€˜Yeah, I’ll be there.’
The driver took me home and I thought, damn it, John’s not going to come and I’ll be without a best man.ā€
By eight in the morning, John was walking down my driveway in a top hat and tails, dressed to the nines, impeccable. He lived half an hour from my house and I hadn’t even had time to shave. I opened the door, and he was all chipper, ā€˜I’m ready and you?!’ In reality, I was doing much worse than him... we got in the car and of course, we did a couple of lines of coke... I thought, ā€˜Holy hell, so this is how the day is going to go’..................ā€

And the wedding was total madness. A delightful chapter from the beautiful biography of Tony Iommi (which I ā€œreviewedā€ as soon as I came in, unfortunately not in the best way).

Too easy for many. Some from those you wouldn’t expect.

ā€œJohn Bonham is the god of Rock’n’Roll and Led Zeppelin the best rock band ever.ā€

From Houses Of The Holy, but we draw from TSRTS the live version because if you falter in the studio, here you’re out.

ā€œJohn sat behind this tiny drum kit, managing to get his sound from an 18-inch bass drum, a 4-inch snare, and two 12-14 inch toms. I was shocked by how he was playing and the sound he was able to achieve. The sound of Led Zeppelin was coming from this small drum kit.ā€

ā€œHe played the drums like someone who didn’t know what was going to happen next, as if he were balancing on the edge of a cliff. Since then, no one has ever come close to him, and I don’t believe anyone ever will in the future. He will forever be the greatest drummer of all time.ā€

ā€œJohn Bonham played straight to the heart. His style wasn’t perfect, but when he laid down a groove it was so deep it felt like a heartbeat.ā€
