With its emotionally retro sounds, I find this work acrobatic; it moves on a tightrope between past electronic sounds that play with tonal shifts and contemporary electro retro nueva. The sum of these elements creates a sound with magnetic charm, minimalistic. With a fresh perspective, it captures in its melody something artificial yet warm and not too abstract. Ironically, "Futuro" is an album of emotions that sneak under the skin. A beautiful work, shaping the past into forms that remind us of an old friend, without recalling the face, but definitely a friend - Among the surprises of 2019.

Every time I find myself there, I get goosebumps that take me a month to recover from. Even the hairs on my butt stand on end. Microstoria - endless summer NAMM
Not long ago, I was talking with @[CosmicJocker] about how the ease of finding many musical works today leads to not listening with the proper attention to magnificent works that might be a bit harder to digest than others. So here I am, rediscovering this piece from way back in 1996 (even time has a different meaning today, and '96 feels like a century ago) by Microstoria, "Endless Summer," a splendid work that I’ve only now come to fully appreciate. A #betterlatethannever kind of situation.
