The '80s were great and also useful. How, useful??
Of course! There were the fluorescent gloves and scarves, perfect in case of a sudden breakdown of your car, in the middle of the highway. There were the Cult, the first safety shoes in history. Transparent phones that, in case of malfunction, you could diagnose the fault without taking apart the receiver, PaperMate pens, handy for erasing the nonsense you wrote at 14, encyclopedic volumes, great for decorating your home, Postal Market, a formidable ally in the prevention of prostate cancer. There was Mike Buongiorno on TV, a good reason to go out and D.O.C. by Telesforo and Arbore, a good reason to stay in. And there was music. The kind that marked a generation.

The cover to guess tonight, like it or not, is one of those that has defined a generation. Indeed, it's a generational anthem.
