TSP50... nowadays, where every useless subject will do anything for a bit of visibility, people fail to realize what the figure of Morrison truly represented... the Band had become, due to Jim, the target of conservative America towards everything that was defined as counterculture. After the “scandal” in Miami, concerts were canceled for the one who wrote “songs for drugs” and “against the family.” On March 23, '69, the peak was reached with the gathering of tens of thousands of people at the Orange Bowl to witness a demonstration in favor of public decency! Morrison had become the bad rebel... while young people, instead of heeding the call for a real uprising, conceived music and drugs only to get high... that's why there was no longer any desire to act, to shake consciousness...
In this stunning piece, the little brother of The Crystal Sheep, the orchestral arrangements are perfect.
The romanticism tinged with Morrisonian darkness at its peak...
