Thievery Corporation - Voyage Libre [Official Music Video]

I need to leave, to give us some space

We know it: for a lifetime, the unbridgeable black hole we have in our heads has tried to keep us feeling alive by forcing us to accompany our (often) useless existences with music; it doesn't matter what kind it is.

Sometimes it's just a harmless, incessant background buzz, other times pure chaos to completely unsettle our ears, which, being on the brink of disaster, cry out for help but, being made to hear, no one listens.

And then there are moments when you find yourself accidentally replaying an innocuous fragment, where suddenly, like a buoy freed from the claws that held it at the bottom of the sea, it brings back to the surface in a completely unexpected way the beautiful things you experienced and that at the time you didn't even fully realize how vital they had been.
