#noclassics THE WALKER BROTHERS - THERE GOES MY BABY for me a small immense discovery but how many are the bands I’ve known with the same roots, let’s say the Jacks, shall we say the Tindersticks, and let’s say it if you want.

Well tuned in to #radiocapish

Good morning to all DeBaserians and DeBaseriane! Here it is, by popular demand, the return of the column:
The 10 Ugliest and Unlistenable Things Produced by VascoRosso from Zocca, in purely random order. PART 1
Let’s start with a classic, namely...
Vasco Rossi - E...
The second single taken from the album "Buoni o cattivi" from 2004. If the title doesn't promise anything good, the song is even worse. Besides being musically the (ugly) copy of "Un senso", the lyrics are among the worst ever written by V. The chorus, in particular, is particularly cloying: “Eeee, uoooeeeeee, sei un piiicccolo fioooreeee per meeeee, e l’odore che haaaaaaai mi ricorda qualcoooosaaaa, vabeeee” VAFFANCULO!

Evan Parker, Derek Bailey & Han Bennink - Dogmeat

Evan Parker - from "The Topography of the Lungs"
1970 (Incus)

Porta Romana (Dalla - Guccini - Vecchioni)
on the table at least 5 empty bottles...

Franco Califano - Primo di settembre

We keep going because September is full of surprises!

STALINGRADO- LA FABBRICA Stormy Six
I am reading "Life and Fate" by Vassily Grossman: we have an enormous debt to the heroic defenders of Stalingrad.

60's - The Charlatans - Walkin' - Jack Of Diamonds
Among the incredible stories / among my favorites of the time
The first psycho (folk) band that gave life to the San Francisco Sound between '64 and '65, paving the way for EVERYTHING! The first acid concert, the first poster that created "culture."
And what can we say about the clothing that mixed cowboy gunslinger with the perfect, elegant, and impeccable dandy... that's why there were so many young people on the streets of Frisco back in the day...
And in the category of “absurd stories,” their only album comes out in '69, as psychedelic folk is already over, along with all the associated madness. I have a collection that features almost all of their singles from the period, amazing Charlatans, beautiful for genre lovers, released towards the end of the century... I think...
Their story should be well told on the debasio with a review for posterity by
