The Rolling Stones - Love In Vain (Live) - Official

This road ultimately offers no choice
In the end, there is no choice
And the human itinerary provides for no return
But a one-way trip, a year like a day, just colored sand
In the underlying ampoule of my hourglass
Time cannot be challenged
Time cannot be challenged

You move forever lazily
One dies in rigor
In absent motion
In thought without love
And this is what I fear
Because when I stop
My hour has come

It’s not over, it’s not over
It may seem so, but life is not over
You just need to have memory and perspective
Regardless of time
It’s not over, it’s not over
Despite all the evil, it’s not over
As long as I have memory and perspective
Regardless of time
Regardless of everything
Regardless of me

Silence does not always mean consent
Only rejection does not always find the words
I too, modestly, don’t understand, but I resist

And I fall silent from disgust
But what on earth do I have to do with all this
What on earth do I have to do with all this

Commanders, please do us a favor
If you make decisive decisions about our lives
Do it only in the moment right after your orgasm
Thanks to that moment of peace
We would have a world without anger
A world without war

Despite all the evil, it’s not over
As long as I have memory and perspective

Regardless of time
Regardless of everything
Regardless of me

Clearly inspired in the arrangement and (perhaps) also in the lyrics by Battiato, selon moi

'Tales From Monographic Oceans': a spontaneous journey in a stretch of sea, cutting through the isthmuses of some discographies (Replacements/Paul Westerberg 30, 1)
'Bastardo Senza Gloria': the boundless talent of Mr. Paul from Saint Paul, amid the ripped strings of youthful rage, rebellion without reason and a flicker of success only grazed and still hard to believe he didn’t become the best and most acclaimed of all. But for those who 'were there', a spokesperson for a generation (mine)

The one below is too languid.
Listen to this one which is more spakkaossa with Gregg Giuffria crucified between his keyboards.

@[Conteverde]

Since you mentioned it, I'm presenting it again in this "renewed" form... do you remember Spin 1ne Two?
#micapizzaefichi Paul Carrack on vocals, Tony Levin on bass, Steve Ferrone on drums, Phil Palmer on guitar, and Rupert Hine on keyboards, just to name a few...

Picking up the brilliant idea of @[Martello], I would like to pay a sort of "tribute" to a great artist like Antonello Venditti, presenting a ranking of his albums (stopping at Cuore from 1984 and including Theorius Campus with De Gregori) from the least beautiful to the best...

N°5: "Quando Verrà Natale" (1974)
After about a year of musical hiatus, Antonello presents us with a new album of unreleased songs. The arrangements become increasingly complex: this is the album featuring A Cristo, a track that led Antonello to be accused of blasphemy due to the lines "Ammazzete Gesù Crì, quanto sei fico," later replaced with "Ammazzali Gesù Crì quanto so' fichi." Also noteworthy is Campo De' Fiori, a poignant vision of a society in decline, the mysticism of Figli Del Domani, the portrayal of feminism in Marta, and then the concluding title track, which could be interpreted as a mockery of those waiting for miracles that are never meant to arrive.
Overall rating: 9

Masterpiece of the album: Marta

Jason Bonham Band Ramble On
After decades, I still don't know who played with Jason on this album - also in the other - a tribute to Dad and the uncles...
But they are very beautiful and heartfelt versions.

Return to Pat. (7)
The seventh track of "From This Place," Everything Explained, is very fast. I took a look at some reviews online because to me it sounds slightly "tarantellato" and I wanted to see if the web’s experts had the same impression. Apparently not! Well, for me it is, yes. Kisses.
