Arctic Monkeys - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor

Thank you so much for the invitation.
Those of you who know me a bit from my listening habits know that I am viscerally tied to the '90s musically; everything I love most is linked to that decade, my youth.
But despite this, I have never stopped seeking new things, and even though none of these will ever reach that peak in my heart, there are plenty of beautiful things for me from 2000 onward.
I’ll start with what, in just one album, 15 years ago, managed to become one of my favorite bands, which I follow diligently and have seen live several times.

I JUVENTINI - Checco Zalone
bye bye rubentus.

St. Vincent - Masseduction
Probably the best "thing" to come out in the two-thousands... a mix of freshness and novelty with the stature of classics...

JMSN - Talk Is Cheap (Live Atwater Village)

JMSN

Genre: Alternative R&B, Soul

Lana Del Rey - Video Games

The thing is, I don't really listen to much that's been produced since 2000. Most of my listening habits lean toward older music. Lana Del Rey is the only "contemporary" artist that I truly follow with passion. Particularly her first two albums, namely Born To Die and Ultraviolence. These are two important records for me. They are produced in a way that I really enjoy. Every detail of them (lyrics and interpretation included, of course) fits perfectly with what I like.

Viagra Boys - 6 Shooter (From Shrimp Sessions 2) ...Welfare Jazz (2021)...Scandinavian post-punk with a sax that sometimes reshuffles the cards...

Sawariyanagi

Eddie Vedder - Hard Sun (Music Video) HD
A coming-of-age film that should be mandatory in high school.
Vedder chases the wind in the woods of Jeremiah Abraham.

Boogie Woogie Stomp

Albert Ammons - from "The First Day"
1939 (Blue Note)

Plan 9 ‎– Frustration{FULL ALBUM}1982
I could find their albums in MP3...

Frankenstein Junior - l'Eremita cieco

Mel Brooks (1 of 2)
"Young Frankenstein" - (1974)

The Fiery Furnaces - My Egyptian Grammar
2007, Thrill Jockey.

They, originally from Illinois, Matthew and Eleanor Friedberger, were the Fiery from Brooklyn from 2000 to 2011; sprawling indie "art" rock.

La Rappresentante di Lista - Alieno (Official Video)
I’m really enjoying them. Now I’ll take the last one.
