Keith Richards messes up intro to Happy

“Hey, where’s my drummer?” he asks.

“Why don’t you drag your ass over here?”

Charlie Watts doesn’t say a word, hangs up the phone, goes to the bathroom, shaves, puts on his tuxedo, polishes his shoes, and puts them on.

He leaves the room, finds Jagger in Keith's room, gets close, and delivers a sensational punch to his face.
Jagger ends up on a plate of smoked salmon, and Keith Richards grabs him by the leg, preventing him from falling out of the open window on the twentieth floor.

Jagger doesn’t make a move to get back up, looking at Charlie Watts with a questioning expression.

And Charlie Watts tells him: “Don’t you ever call me your drummer again.

You’re my fucking singer!”

(An anecdote from “Rock Bazar” by Massimo Cotto, published by Vololibero Edizioni)

Ehm, not having yet @[G] complied with my more than humble request to add the mention "Happy Birthday To You," ehm, surely you have your excellent reasons for that, I will add a hashtag of my own invention at the end..

Okay, today marks the 80th (yes, “eighty”) spring for the evergreen Rolling Stone Charles Robert "Charlie" Watts and nothing... I mean no:

Dark Lord - Love Hurts
If it had been released on a Scorpions album, it would have been on the Billboard charts for at least a year...one of the coolest and "most American" Italian bands.
