Miles Davis - Tutu 1986 HQ

He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in '84.

He was always active in the defense of human rights and used his high position to fight for the oppressed, despite facing controversy from the United States due to his opposition to Israel.

He fought to defeat AIDS, tuberculosis, poverty, racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia.

He was in favor of euthanasia, emphasizing the fact that "people all over the world are denied the right to die with dignity."

He was explicitly mentioned in the song "Silver and Gold" by "U2" on the album "Rattle and Hum" in '88.

His name was Desmond Mpilo Tutu, he passed away today at the age of ninety, but he will be remembered forever in the books of History.

The Church - For A Moment We're Strangers @[imasoulman] because of your listens, I haven’t been able to get the melodies of the first two albums by The Church out of my head for three or four days, to the point that I was humming them during Christmas lunch (in interiore nomine, of course, not out loud). And what a contrast of incompatible sensations it is when you have Kilbey’s cold voice in your mind while in front of you is Aunt Angela's roasted chicken. Cursed!
