My tireless search in the realms of the audible has finally borne fruit! I have discovered this little-known quartet of Anglo-Saxon lads and I have fallen madly in love with them. After a handful of albums that were scorned by everyone, the four, desperate and without a dime to their name but with a burning desire to create music, released "Aiuto!" (referring, indeed, to their need for attention, which they hoped in vain to gain), a true milestone of commercial failure. Following that, they recorded "Anima di gomma," another decent little record. Until, the following year, in 1996, they finally unleashed their overlooked masterpiece: "Pistola" (named after the most unfortunate member, one Ringo Stellaa, who was indeed called Il Pistola). Give it a listen, I believe it’s worth rediscovering this hidden gem.
