Nik Turner's Synchronicity continues his legacy as a pioneer of European progressive and space-rock. The album features hypnotic and cosmic sounds, with notable contributions from Steve Hillman and former Hawkwind members. Tracks like "Thunder Rider Invocation" and "Night Of The Jewelled Eye" exemplify the immersive psychedelic journey the album offers.  Everything sounds quite dated but I don’t mean this in a negative way.

Listening to a warm band like Macchina Pneumatica is a breath of life.

Macchina Pneumatica's Appartenenza revisits the classic '70s Italian prog rock sound with warmth and skill. Featuring strong rhythm sections and vintage keyboards, the album blends calm and energetic atmospheres. Vocalist Raffaele Gigliotti stands out with a powerful voice. The album explores themes of societal homogenization and madness, maintaining a familiar but welcomed style in the Italian prog scene. Listen to Macchina Pneumatica's Appartenenza for a refreshing blend of vintage Italian prog and thoughtful concepts.

Despite the premises, the album sounds much less 'revivalist' than one might think.

I can only highly recommend this cult album by these fantastic psychedelic storytellers who bring a breath of fresh air to an asphyxiated and depressing Italian music scene.

OSSI's self-titled album presents a vibrant and modern take on psychedelic rock, diverging from their previous experimental work with Deadburger Factory. Featuring collaborations with notable Italian musicians, the album blends 60s psych influences with contemporary electronic touches and politically charged Italian lyrics. The standout graphic design complements the music's surreal and fresh atmosphere. Highly recommended for fans seeking innovative psychedelic sounds within Italy's music scene. Listen to OSSI's unique psychedelic journey and explore this cult album on Bandcamp now!

Grabinski's narrative is very original and resembles only itself.

The standards of Zothique are generally good but this issue is simply unmissable.

The review highlights Stefan Grabinski as a pioneering figure in European fantastic literature, often compared to Poe and Lovecraft. Zothique 11 dedicates an in-depth special to his biography, themes, and influence. It features critical essays, an interview, and two unpublished stories, showcasing Grabinski's unique narrative style and his contributions to modernist weird fiction. The magazine also explores the influence of Lovecraftian themes in Southern Italy. Overall, the issue is praised as an essential resource for fans of weird and gothic literature. Dive into Zothique 11 to explore Stefan Grabinski's eerie genius and the rich world of modern weird fiction.

The effect is cathartic, and I feel that this is perhaps his most “schulzian” album.

The vocal parts give a touch almost like a dark opera to the whole, while the moments when noise merges with symphonic settings are disorienting.

Lyke Wake’s album ‘At The End Of The Dream, Where Nothing Remains/Symphonic Noise’ is a bold, immersive work blending symphonic and noise elements with synth-generated violin and sampled vocals. Inspired by German cosmic music and Klaus Schulze, the album creates a cold, dark atmosphere reflecting alienation and discomfort. The reviewer applauds its originality, innovative composition, and cathartic impact. Dive into Lyke Wake’s daring symphonic noise experience and discover a unique blend of dark ambient and cosmic influences today.

The first track 'Interference' is enough to understand that the sonic coordinates have not changed at all.

Overall, we are looking at a good album, certainly dark and magmatic, which revives the cult of Loop and recalls the splendor of the old days.

Loop, pioneers of shoegaze, return with Sonancy, their first album in decades. The record balances their classic hypnotic guitar-driven sound with calmer, atmospheric tracks. Sonancy successfully revives the band's cult status while exploring darker, magmatic soundscapes. This album will especially appeal to fans of psychedelic rock and krautrock influences. Listen to Loop's mesmerizing new album Sonancy on Bandcamp and experience their iconic psychedelic shoegaze sound reborn.

In The chapters of the eclipse, almost like magic, we find the ethereal and subliminal atmospheres of the early Vidna Obmana.
