This is heavier than Load and Reload, almost like those old ones but different. It gets close to nu-metal and grunge, but it’s not bad.

The drummer is a machine gun that doesn’t stop for even a second. Few bands remind you how much violence can be expressed with music like these Brain Drill.

The title track The Ultimate Devotion is simply incredible, I think it’s the most successful of the entire work and it’s a song you should listen to at all costs! Marc has shown us better, and in fact, the songs we expect are about to arrive.

The emotions this CD inspires are intense—anger, passion, pain. Tom Delonge may not have created the biggest band in the world, but he certainly came very close.

"Behold Judas" is spectacular! Wonderful, with a very aggressive intro, a (almost) catchy chorus, but always very brutal. The drums are unleashed, fast, almost impressive, and it’s impossible to stay still without following the overwhelming rhythm.

Their post-hardcore is very interesting, however. The conclusion of the CD is magnificent: 'The Day I Left the Womb' wonderfully concludes the album: an acoustic song with a really beautiful lyric, sung wonderfully.
