As is well known, the Scandinavian glam-sleaze scene is very flourishing these years. In addition to the big names like Hardcore Superstar and Backyard Babies, a large number of bands are embracing this genre, initially thought to be just a revival of the '80s glam, but increasingly recognized as a standalone genre known as sleaze or street rock (or metal, depending on the band).

These Babylon Bombs, along with Vains Of Jenna, are among the bands yet to break through, but they have already released excellent records. Following their debut "Cracked Wide Open And Bruised", which was very good but not yet at the highest levels, comes their first great CD. 12 rocking and very simple tracks, but ones that make an impact from the first listen and stick in your head; this is the great merit of these Babylon Bombs: the brilliance, the skill in writing songs that are simple from a compositional standpoint, but very catchy. From the opener "Jaded Hears", to the beautiful, captivating (and the most successful single and track) "Louder", the semi-hard rock of "Crack Of Dawn", the big single "Hometown Hero", and the semi-ballad "Slip Away". Unfortunately, from the seventh track onwards, the overall level drops slightly, but nevertheless, there are very enjoyable tracks like "Drop The Bomb", "Gotta Move On", and "Proud".

Thus, in anticipation of their third full-length, this "Doin' You Nasty" offers a generous forty minutes of excellent rock'n'roll, easy to listen to and really engaging.
