"From a band like this, we should expect and demand something more." I see it exactly the opposite: I never expect anything from them, and occasionally I don’t mind listening to them in the background. This Dark Horse isn’t anything special in the end, but I consider it a good album that can be enjoyed. "Never Gonna Be Alone" is the only song I skip, so I’d say it’s fine as it is. Good review, though too many details!
