Scars Of The Crucifix doesn't seem like a piece of crap to me, as you say; in fact, I think it's a good album. Anyway, nice review, but I still have to listen to this album, even though I've had it since the time it was released.

Great album, though with a few dips throughout the tracklist. In my opinion, it's only inferior to White Pony (which I consider their masterpiece). Fantastic tracks like My Own Summer, Be Quiet And Drive, the title track, Head Up, and Lotion. A review from a fan, but well done.
