I would give Sherinian just one point for his pretentious habit of giving names that scream on every album. People like this loquacious keyboardist should be focused on seeking out new talents and featuring them on his albums instead of calling in people who don’t offer much beyond their name. If he were to collaborate with motivated young artists, his compositions would take off, enriched by fresh ideas, and the music would be all the better for it. Instead, we keep calling the same old names: Satrianis, Wilds, Steve Vais, Lukathers, Slashes, Tony Levins, who deliver their clichéd performances with minimal effort, merely for the sake of a "screaming" collaboration.
