A step forward and a step back, this film. A step forward from the tired flatness of the Argento productions of the 90s-2000s, a step back compared to the trilogy of which it represents the closure. In fact, while it returns to true horror, to unwatered murders, all very positive signs, on the other hand, there remain issues from Argento's latest cinema, such as the poor attention to lighting, photography, and sets, resulting in a television production effect that truly clashes. What a pity. It's also a shame for certain dissonances in the actual staging; the punk witches are somewhat grotesque, as is the ghost of the mother, and Asia’s acting, well, it is what it is. Good music by Simonetti and overall a film that is watchable, even if it's no longer the work of a virtuoso behind the camera as Dario Argento was in the 70s-80s.

Well, was all of this necessary? I mean, the exercise of shooting at the Red Cross, because it's clear that everything is indefensible in these productions; it's also pointless to just rate it 1 out of 1... Just look at the cast, and it seems like something from Buona Domenica, with the difference that you're paying to watch it.

Fully agree with Fenrir's post. I’d like to add: does it still make sense to talk about real and fake punk, or just punk for that matter, in 2007???

The alveolus certainly exists but, as someone else pointed out, it may not be the term you wanted to use... at least in Italian! :-) Alveoli are the ones in the lungs, or dental ones... or the cells of beehives. Alveo, on the other hand, can refer to that of a river, or more figuratively, that "of Italian singer-songwriters" precisely.

She is overrated. The album is good, better than many of her others, and her voice is less grating than usual. Ups and downs, anyway. Alveolo or alveo? I would say alveo.

I haven't listened to the album, but if you're giving it 4 stars, there must be a reason. I'll check it out.

"This" century is the 21st. Benedetti Michelangeli belongs to the 20th. Not a great record then because we're talking about just 7 years ;-) I've never listened to this. Am I missing something?

It's a nice album, certainly not the only one in Macca's solo career. I also liked Flaming Pie from the recent ones.
