Franco Battiato Pollution
Voto:
someone has perversely brought to my attention "areknames," in my deep ignorance of the work of Franco Battiato. the background music to the text is "la moldava" by Smetana.

Come on, Chris Isaak isn't even that bad as a skeleton. I remember I was left speechless in front of the "Blue Hotel" video. But the a-ha... mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

dEUS Pocket Revolution

No, I wasn't spitting flames and I didn't intend to intimidate you; I'm sorry if I did. I just wanted to clarify a few points. You're always free to have opinions different from mine, de gustibus. Generally, I avoid passing judgments, but when it comes to dEUS, I love to pontificate, oh how I do! :)

Partially, you should consider the dEUS of WCS and those of Pocket Revolution as two different groups. The schizoids dEUS have gradually disappeared, largely due to the countless lineup changes. The difference is obviously more noticeable when jumping from the first to the last album. "The Real Sugar," for me, is and remains one of the best on the album...

k, I can't help you with these. I admit my ignorance. I will inform myself about it and let you know. In the meantime, I’ll see Mackaye on November 3rd with The Evens. I really liked the album, who knows what the live show will be like...

Manic Street Preachers The Holy Bible
Voto:
I've never had a great passion for the Manics, but I like this album. You can tell that Richey James was the one who knew how to do it. One of the most beautiful things about this album, anyway, is this quote in the booklet: "it is easy to shield the outer body from poisoned arrows, but it is impossible to shield the mind from the poisoned darts that originate within itself. greed, anger, foolishness and the infatuations of egoism - these four poisoned darts originate within the mind and infect it with deadly poison."
