the real limit of PFM was the lack of a true singer/front man; who should have given a distinctive timbre to the vocal part of the group. later they would try with Lanzetti but by then it was too late (for me). a beautiful album, perhaps their best, anyway the one I prefer. the sound is now terribly outdated.

I don’t think he was very concerned about it, but an artist always hopes to be heard or admired by as wide an audience as possible. However, by choosing to express himself in Sardinian, our captain has somewhat relegated himself to a niche. At least that's what I think; I don't claim to have the truth in my pocket. The album is still extraordinary for the suffocating Italian market; may more works as beautiful and refined as this one come out.

For you, it isn’t a limit, but for the rest of Italy, it is, trust me, in Italy you can make light music in only three languages: Italian, English, and Neapolitan. The rest doesn’t get broadcasted by either radio or TV. The parallel between "Creuza de Ma" and "Abacada" is all in the Mediterranean arrangements; I prefer the latter even though I struggle to understand Gallurese. (Did you shit yourself? A typical expression from Sulcis). Bye.

I listened to everything this morning before doing my duty as an uncle and gifting it to my little niece, who’s 12 and listens to what the TV offers and shovels out. Honestly, I didn't find them so horrible, painted like many others before and after them (Kiss, Duran Duran, Bowie, Reed, Zero, Malgioglio), but I found the songs pretty banal. Good only for middle school parties, a cigarette, a joint or two, and the bottle (I wonder if today’s kids still play spin the bottle). Review: three disks, zero stars. PS I thought about reviewing them, but there were already reviews out there.
