Bruce Springsteen We Shall Overcome - The Seeger Sessions
Voto:
To me, Springsteen really doesn't say anything, Devils and Dust is a completely bland album and this, even for a country sympathizer like me, is truly a never-ending bore.
Nonetheless, I appreciate the choice to engage with a genre that seems straightforward but actually requires great interpretative skills.

A very promising group, Francesco has a strong personality and a very versatile voice, and the other members are skilled musicians. I saw them in concert in Monopoli and they are really good, great energy... at one point they performed a piece from "Dazed and Confused," stunning... and then at the end, Francesco introduced the various members and each one did a solo, in perfect '70s style. They also played some pretty good instrumentals in the style of early Pink Floyd. Really a surprise, they don’t do anything extravagant, but if they don’t become slaves to their image and continue to grow, they can really achieve great things. Their second work is also very good, which bodes well.

They have always compared them to Nirvana, but did they make pretty much the same music? I'm asking because I don't know them at all. Cute review, album I don't know.

On this album, there are a couple of nice songs... but the rest is garbage in perfect Vasco Rossi style.

Please don't mix shit (Oasis) with chocolate (Velvet Underground)... Are we kidding? This is the last thing we need right now. Liam Gallagher has only drug tendencies compared to Lou Reed (and doesn't even end up with that...).

The usual CD from Oasis... the same three ideas, the same choruses. However, there is much worse out there (see Coldplay).

Well, I think they're just legends... frankly, I don't want to believe in them.

I believe he has issues with alcohol... just like his father did, after all...

I don't know the band, but your review has piqued my curiosity, so I'm off to give it a listen... :-)
