Their third album (96/99/02) will wrap you at sunset in a very fine cashmere blanket that you will try to hold on to even tighter as the sounds will carry you up to cold and desolate places: you “…and the surrounding mountains”… The surrounding mountains will gently and docilely embrace your family circle: there you'll be with your father, your sisters, your uncles, and of course your mother… the tender and dreamlike embrace will be, however, imbued with pains and sadnesses… tears will surface here and there with a simple guitar solo that will clutch your heart or with a few piano notes that will make you cry… it is the family with its sorrows and its joys…
And the sounds?? Some listening to the album will immediately think of Pink Floyd's cow or the lightness of Brian Wilson or Neil Young… It might seem like the homework of a good child who has learned from the masters… But it will not be the aftertaste of a wine that has now vanished… The twelve extremely soft and caressing pieces will gradually unfold: each track will be resumed in the next, each sound will amplify the same dream, the same obsession… The guitars will layer the sound with very simple keyboards and delicate voices… If I said indie-rock-slow-core, probably no one would take offense… It will be like facing a landscape watercolor with dull and twilight colors that will hypnotize you with linear, almost psychedelic brushstrokes…
