I'm sorry, Beatboy, I also respect your ideas, no doubt about it... But what difference does it make if Le Orme play for two or three hours straight? Their music remains just as trivial. And whether they are fifty years old, I ask you again, what changes? There are orchestral musicians and classical soloists who are over sixty, but in concert, having to play infinitely more complex music than that of Le Orme, they certainly don’t hold back. Look, in my opinion, Tony Pagliuca is the most boring keyboardist in progressive rock and beyond. His accompaniments are school-like, stereotypical, and not dynamic at all, always "in time" with the rest of the musicians, without ever a spark or a flash of creativity. The singing bassist, Aldo Tagliapietra, has an expressionless voice, to say the least, anemic. He never shows the slightest participation in what he's singing, and a bit of interpretation seems necessary even if you’re singing "Frère Jacques." Miki dei Rossi is a good drummer, but I don’t feel I can say more than that.

Well, at that time, if someone wanted to listen to something funny, silly but pleasant from a musical point of view, they would listen to Elio. Leone di Lernia, well… I mean, there’s nothing wrong with reviewing him, but… Then again, it's not surprising that Leone ended up on "L'Isola dei Famosi". I remember him on "Quelli che il calcio," always behind Teo Teocoli ("quelli che..." I haven't watched in a while) during the connections from San Siro. The Island is perfect for Leone. And it would be for Paolini too.

So dear Davejongilmour, I want to start by saying that since this page is yours and for connoisseurs, this is my last post. I thought this page was public like the rest of the site. But since it is exclusively yours (and for connoisseurs), I apologize and promise that I will not set foot here or on your past and future pages anymore. In the meantime, regarding your presumption, you say "Le orme MUST be considered, etc..." extending your judgment to your readers, at least in your intentions. I say "WRONG. IT SHOULD BE SAID, etc...". The use of the conditional indicates a personal judgment of mine that can be shared or not. Congratulations also on your writing style: how beautiful the "k's" instead of "ch's" are. They really give off a connoisseur vibe. As for Le Orme, I reiterate that they are quite overrated as a group. Their music is very simple, and in my view, rather trivial, lyrics included. Since you asked me, among Italian prog bands, I would save PFM and a few albums from Banco. Have a good laugh.

It should say: "Le Orme ARE considered one of the greatest Italian rock bands of all time, but they are also greatly overrated." Like many other Italian progressive rock bands. This album is a piece of crap. Like their other albums as well. The only album by Le Orme that I can sometimes tolerate is "Smogmagica," but only because of the presence of Tolo Marton, a good guitarist.
