Mark Lanegan Whiskey For The Holy Ghost
Voto:
an intense record...but I don’t agree with what critics usually say about the arrangements, calling them sparse...here we have accordion, harmonica, violin, cello, clarinet, three guitars...in short, these don’t seem sparse arrangements to me at all...this argument could be made, for example, for Kozelek, Cohen, Drake, not for Lanegan...
Francis Ford Coppola La Conversazione
Voto:
my favorite coppola movie: the solitude and the sound...well said, bartle!
Gang Green Another Wasted Night
Voto:
I've never been attracted to..."drinking, fucking, moshing, and even skating" <<< in fact, we kind of ended up in hc by accident, you know... oh but we can't exactly welcome them with the Morettone, what an embarrassment! I'll bring the imperial drops! :-P
Federico Fellini La Dolce Vita
Voto:
"eros is starting a family" <<< and Thanatos, what is it? divorcing?
Jean Pierre Melville Frank Costello, Faccia D'Angelo (Le samourai, 1967)
Voto:
"gollista d.o.c., a man of the right due to his pessimism about the fates and feelings of man, Jean Pierre Melville" <<< ahiahiahi pippo, you’re screwed! If he comes around here, metallarobionico will give a nice 1 to the film and a nice 1 to your review! :-)))
Fastbacks And His Orchestra
Voto:
But was there at least some Fastbacks fan who fell asleep during the Pearl Jam performance? :-P
Catherine Wheel Ferment
Voto:
In fact, I almost prefer "Isn't Anything": I find it more "human-sized," I don’t know if I’m making myself clear...
