1986 film with a star-studded cast, depicting various adventures of characters revolving around the bustling activity of the DEPARTMENT STORES. "At the department stores, for big and small, you can buy a motorcycle, a radio, or a nice gaaame". Through the actors, I will mention the stories they portray, evaluating their quality with a score from 1 to 10 and possibly a comment.

Episode with Montesano: Evaristo Mazzetti (Montesano) cleans the toilets with dignity and is mistaken by Haber and his wife Laura Antonelli for the son of the department stores' tycoon. They treat him extremely well, hoping to get in the good graces of the big boss and climb the career ladder. But it's all a misunderstanding. The truth emerges too late, and Montesano finds himself paying unjustly. Score 5

Episode with Manfredi: Salviati (Manfredi) is an alcoholic and fallen actor. His manager (Gullotta) rehabilitates him for a Department Stores' commercial, but during the shoot, Salviati gets drunk, making a bad impression, and ultimately spends his entire fee on offering champagne to everyone. Score 6

Episode with Lino Banfi: Nicola (Banfi) is a crippled beggar who plays noisy music with his daughter outside the Stores and moves one of the managers (Placido), who, despite wanting to get rid of him for the low image he gives to the commercial context, ends up giving him a tip. The homemade, multi-instrumentalist track "Because I don't have any money," is entertaining. Score 6.5

Episode with Villaggio: Villaggio acts as a fake Robot. Together with his friend "Filini," he plans to con the Stores by presenting himself as a prototype of an ultra-modern Robot. Villaggio will undergo unspeakable and painful tests, and the two swindlers' plan will fail. Score 5.5

Episode with Renato Pozzetto: Valsecchi (Pozzetto) makes deliveries for the Department Stores with a three-wheeled scooter. He hates his boss and encounters a dangerous delivery where a big dog (Great Dane) threatens to bite. The owner insists that the dog is good and has been neutered, and Valsecchi responds "I'm not afraid it's going to screw me." He will later make a delivery to a rich old queen who seduces him and allows him to quit his job and curse his boss. Score 7.5

Episode with Heather Parisi: beautiful but blind, having lost her contact lenses, she thinks she's going home alone but ends up staying in the Stores all day (and night). Score 6

Episode with Massimo Boldi: Minozzi (Boldi) is an idiot cop who, instead of guarding the goods, gets tricked by everyone, including Sabrina Salerno, who steal all sorts. Score 5

Episode with Christian De Sica: a posh fitness enthusiast who won a voucher to spend at the stores tries to use it to the last cent and ends up seducing a salesgirl. Score 5

There are also Teo Teocoli, Ornella Muti, and Massimo Ciavarro in minor roles. Overall, a fairly entertaining little film revolving around trivial stories as usual supported by the faces of famous protagonists. Every time it's rewatched, it manages to invoke a chuckle.
