A masterclass in style on all fronts: singing, rhythm, arrangements. Levene, somewhat overshadowed here compared to Second Edition, takes a strong revenge in "Go Back." My favorite is "Track 8": overwhelming. Music genre: indefinable.

praiseworthy the revival, but I admit I had a bit of trouble reading the review...this album is fantastic, especially "Satan Stomp"...Chris D. had an incredibly rotten voice, worse than Lux Interior...maybe they didn't have the impact of the Cramps, but they were definitely more eclectic and imaginative, as evidenced by the presence of saxophone and marimba on this album...a band to be rediscovered...

mmmmmm, the ultimate revisionists (in hard-rock) are those who place Uriah Heep on the same level as Zep, Purple, and Sabs! ;-D Regarding eclecticism, I was mainly referring to the fourth album by LZ, which has not a single purely hard-rock track, but a whole series of folk, blues, rock'n'roll influences and sometimes indefinable ones (Misty Mountain, Four Sticks).
