Well, it's not that bad to deserve a 1, but I agree that a good album is something else entirely. My dad, on the other hand, loves it, but he has some fond memories tied to this album...

Thank you for the comments, few but good! The Ekspetion have had a lot of bad luck in recent years: in 1988, former drummer Tim Griek passed away; in 2003, former guitarist and saxophonist Huib van Kampen died; in 2005, bassist Cor Dekker passed away. I also forgot to mention that this review is dedicated to the memory of Rick van der Linden, who also passed away, on January 22, 2006, at the age of 59 following a stroke. RIP.

"In the early seventies, the Genoese New Trolls were one of the most eclectic and brilliant groups of the Italian underground scene," yes, that's right, even though I wouldn't define them as that underground. In the '60s, that sweet beat they did at the beginning was truly dreadful; the prog New Trolls were much better! The grand C'è Troppa Guerra could have been a Led Zeppelin song, while the absolute masterpiece is, in my opinion, I Cavalieri Del Lago dell'Ontario, stunning! But the whole album is beautiful!
