If Muse sound live as if they're playing from a CD, Kane, it's because they have a sea of recorded backing tracks.. and OOS is an album that after three listens has nothing more to tell you, like all limited albums. I agree in stating that the first is the only noteworthy album by Muse (not too much, by the way), and indeed a year after the first time I read it, I realize that as a review it was the only possible one that suits a band like this..

Well, sometimes it really seems out of place to me; sometimes, yes, if not genius, still interesting and fun (of course, I'm talking about the Twin Peaks OST!). But it's also true that I still have to watch the entire second season, so maybe the music by Badalamenti will end up driving me crazy... ;)

It seems just as idiotic and obtuse to think that if someone harshly criticizes the Vibrazioni, it’s necessarily because they’re a snob.. but let’s face it: musically, they are nothing, without many praises.. personally, I find no difference between them and any DJ Francesco; in fact, they are worse, because they even have the audacity to try to play Rock, when they produce a mass of notes without any artistic sense; and enough with these pseudo “open-minded” discussions (not necessarily you, who might be much more open-minded than me), but in general, these are just stupid talks.. differences need to be made, and as much as art is a relative concept, if something is UGLY, it’s UGLY. End of story.

But how (now that I'm sober) it rocks! There's not a single piece that has anything to do with what you're seeing... then after a while you get used to it and it even becomes fun, but it doesn't really seem like much as a soundtrack (I'm talking about the one from Twin Peaks, okay)... but there's a scene in the first episode where at the Roadhouse this band plays and it's WAY too Dream-pop! Beautiful!

Oh god, I didn’t listen to them, ehh, but allow me to have some doubts... these guys are worse than the plague!

But listen, listen (I preface this by saying I'm super drunk) the soundtrack of Twin Peaks (what a show, I'm really passionate about it, beautiful TV series!) kind of sucks for me, I think Badalamenti doesn't have much taste, I mean he didn't nail a single piece in Twin Peaks, maybe he wanted to create a kind of surreal atmosphere, but in my opinion it's a bit of crap... anyway, I haven't seen this, maybe he did a great job here... who knows... but I have some reservations about him... ciao!
Oasis (What's the Story) Morning Glory?

Insufferably dull music is another matter... take the Muse, whose artistic value is zero, but they have the audacity to claim to be great artists... at least the Oasis have the truth written on their face; I mean, they are a limited group, they always have been and always will be. With that, they managed to produce something that at least characterized a mini-era, that sold 15 million copies while playing with a minimum of personality, in which, like it or not, lacking any artistic pretensions did not necessarily mean a banal offering... then their later albums are terrible, pure junk, and it's not that the first two were masterpieces, but, I repeat, I think they should be allowed to continue...

this is an album that should be left untouched.. there isn't a note that isn't winning, yet it (almost) always manages to avoid clichés.. take Wonderwall.. okay, super melodic, ultra-commercial track, but I challenge anyone to interpret it as masterfully as they did.. with that arrangement, that FANTASTIC drumbeat, and the same goes for "Hello," which references Shoegazer, for "Roll with it," which practically embodies all the rock 'n roll bands of today, and one could go on.. no, there's no denying it, a "winning" album, in the commercial sense but still with something extra to say.
