What is this guy talking about? From Robert Johnson onwards, it’s obvious that everything is recycled. In fact, we’re not talking about Ian Gillan, who by the way has a great voice, but he doesn’t even come close to the stage presence of an Iggy Pop, because on stage, especially in rock, it’s not enough to have a nice voice; you need to put on a show. And Ian Gillan, like Ozzy Osbourne, is part of that group of singers who have a nice voice but just stand in front of the microphone, good only for shaking their beautiful hair or at most clapping their hands—throw in a little jump here and there like Ozzy does. I’d rather see a wounded jaguar on stage even if it doesn’t have exceptional singing skills.

In fact, maybe our cè didn’t know that good old Iggy played drums in the Iguanas before forming the Stooges, and that for a while he played with the Paul Butterfly Band, before seeing the Doors live and deciding to form a band—and what a band! If that isn’t a musician, Rocco Siffredi is Frogio. Get informed before shooting off nonsense.
