@Scandinano: I don't understand your comment. I believe that "Nordic" sounds are easily recognizable, just like the distinctive traits of the personalities of people from the deep north. That said, I too feel the same sensations when listening to this album. @Fidia: she's not super hot but if we compare her to Giorgia or Elisa... well... :)!

@Know-it-all. I'm not saying it's unlistenable. I just mean that he has often been idolized, perhaps a bit too much for his musical talent, while I believe he truly gave his all in the lyrics. To put it differently... a foreigner who doesn't understand anything in Italian but listens to good music and hears De André will probably tell you that it's not anything special. A bit like Bob Dylan wasn't anything special musically. Imagine if instead of the lyrics to "la canzone di Piero," there were the lyrics to "vespa 50" by Lunapop. You wouldn't shout masterpiece but would probably fall asleep...

The Who A Quick One

Beautiful. Although I prefer them in their later works. However, the Who are one of those bands whose entire discography I could listen to in a whole day without ever getting bored because of the variety. The review is great too.

Good review. Alice Cooper has never really blown me away, but the comparison to Manson that I've seen in some comments is deserving of capital punishment! The album is good, but as already mentioned, it's not exactly my genre.

I agree and disagree with you at the same time. I love this album even though I don't agree with the reworks. The voice of van Zant's brother has become more and more like that of his dearly missed older brother over the years. This somehow gives the idea of a leap into the past. In any case, the review is beautiful... well done! Happy holidays everyone!!!
