Besides the historical Skulls and Hatebreeders, I think Night of the Living Dead deserves a mention too. And the not-so-great production was probably intentional, as it gives a particular flavor to the eerie sounds.

In my opinion, this is a good album, featuring a handful of songs (right next door to hell, double talkin' jive, november rain, the garden, garden of eden) that can be placed among the most beautiful of the band and of hard rock (at least for the last 25 years).

Aside from the horrendous review, it seems to me that there's a bunch of people whose life goal is to slander the gunners. I believe that in this case, we are faced with the record that reopened the gates to "hard rock with a drum" (at least at a mass level) after years of pitiful easy listening.
