Anyway, the album is beautiful... damn, I wanted to write the review myself...

always this DiGiorgio in the middle. I must say that I am a big fan of Death and of the legendary bassist in question, whom I consider one of the most original in the world, but in my opinion, Steve DiGiorgio and Myung are two very different things, with different styles. DiGiorgio has a more jazz and fusion approach to the bass, with an absolute freedom on the keyboard. Myung, on the contrary, has a more aggressive approach, which fits more with the dictates of metal, where technique and speed reign supreme. That's how I see it, I don't know about you.

Portnoy does an absolutely incredible job on this CD, and it’s not purely a technical job, quite the opposite... perhaps, in fact, he’s gone a bit overboard on the last albums, since they are more technical, but on Images and Words, you can't say anything.
