The face on the cover reminds me of art lessons when they explained the polishing of marble that Michelangelo used to do on his works, with abrasive straw. I would say they have polished this quite a bit.

Really, truly, horrible.

You know, you could win the crappy award 2006.
It almost seems like you were committed to aborting it.

I also vote for Metheny...

All tastes are tastes... said a fellow once with his balls on the tracks.

"Fucking barbarity"....what an abyssal sadness. But I don’t think you’ve even seen the fucking barbarity with binoculars. The music with its ridiculous, banal, self-aggrandizing, pretentious sound, and lyrics so vomit-inducing and rhetorical that even the village idiot couldn't conceive them. "Fight with swords for the victoryaahaahaaha...uuuuhuhuhuh". P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C.

It seems the least I could do for such a review. Truly a bogus gem. When talking about the Duke, one must be well-informed, and you have been more than up to the task. However, I don’t share your opinion on Reznor (and certainly not with Mike 76, who wrote a scandalous review on Fragile). I consider him the only heir to Bowie in terms of genius. In my opinion, he’s destabilizing like David, but in a different way, more visceral and less intellectual. I really believe his anger isn’t constructed... otherwise he would have aimed for money, which he never did.

I want it, I want it. I would like her too, though, since Tori is no longer available.

A rather unimpressive review, you could have dared a bit more. But the album flies straight into the shopping list (already overflowing).

Maybe it’s like you say, Flood... if they knew what they were missing, they’d be lining up to buy the discography. Anyway, I feel really cool listening to the goddess of rock. And at the same time, I feel like a jerk and pathetic because I missed her concert in Sesto Fiorentino. When will I ever get the chance to hear her again? sigh...
To nin83: thanks for the positive comment, and a valuable piece of advice from someone who seems musically savvy: run and buy this record... you definitely won’t regret it.
