Mario, observer or any other pathetic wretch you may be: Vic is not my idol... my only idol will be the one who cracks your head, you and all the humorless sons of bitches who infest this world causing nothing but disasters. GET HELP. YOU'RE BEYOND HOPE.

I am perfectly in agreement with you. What deeply angers me is that all these so-called reviewers feel like geni when they trash works of art, OBJECTIVELY recognized works of art (acknowledging this, everyone is free to say they don't like it, they think it sucks, they can't stand it, etc.), with statements like "a shapeless jumble of noises that shouldn't even be cataloged among a musician's works. This kind of rubbish, where technology is passed off as creativity, noise as sound, and personal neurosis as inspiration, represents exactly the type of works beloved by the majors, who can celebrate the first junkie misfit as the new Mozart of noise." Do those sound like reasoned arguments to you? Does it seem realistic to criticize Downward Spiral as a "jumble of sounds"? Does it seem realistic to criticize it even from a COMMERCIAL point of view? Here we are instead dealing with a level of arrogance, pompousness, and above all, enormous IGNORANCE. The terrible confirmation of all this is the listening level of this person, among which the likes of Green Day and the most banal metal stand out. I would also like to point out that he just reviewed a DIO album, giving it a score of 4. So let's try to have credible discussions if we want to engage in historical revisionism, rather than always shooting down without thinking, which is always the easiest thing to do when someone hasn't worked their ass off like Reznor to break through and remain true to his art (see the release of Broken, or 1 live collection no less - in 16 years of career, with 5 years between albums).

Al Jourgensen, with the utmost respect (I like him and I have almost everything), can only dream of Reznor's genius. And there's no music that doesn't build on something else, so let's stop with the clichés. Even Hendrix adored the rock 'n' roll that came before him, and that’s where he started.

I love music, don’t bring yourself down because you’re someone I’ve liked so far and I respect a lot musically speaking. I know you can’t stand the Guns, you have every right to feel that way, and of course that’s fine, but let’s not kid ourselves by saying that Slash isn’t a monstrous guitarist, because everyone knows that’s not true. In the "hard rock" genre, he’s up there on Olympus alongside Page, so let’s not joke about it. As for the rest, I care about you and let’s not dishonor ourselves, if possible.

Wow, it’s the moment for some nonsense historical revisionism. Who’s going to help me dump on shitty crap like "Velvet Underground and Nico," "Exile on Main Street," "Mezzanine," "The Doors," "Dummy"? Yippee, come on and JOIN IN!!! The biggest idiot wins!! COME ON GUYS!!! You’ll win a kick in the teeth and a lollipop!

I avoid personal insults as a good Samaritan, which should undoubtedly come pouring down - AND MERCILESSLY - to the one who wrote the biggest BLASPHEMY on this site. You know why I don’t want to go hard? Because you ridicule yourself, dear chubby, you cover yourself with tons of shit by yourself: you compare one of the greatest and most brilliant masterpieces in the history of music to genuine jokes that make you want to shit yourself from the thrill of their awfulness like "Heaven and Hell" (oh God, help me to vomit) and the "rebellious" purity of Motley Crue (do you even connect your brain? One of the most false, ridiculous, money-making machines that the most vile showbiz has ever crapped out of its ass)... if they are rebels, dear friend, Trent Reznor or Jim Morrison are the embodiment of Satan. I feel sorry for you, I swear. You know what? Go FUCK YOURSELF, sincerely.

Everything is beautiful, really. When there's such a dark world behind the music, I go crazy, and I get everything blindly. Keep it up, Moustache...

X "Confused", "Observer" and the other anonymous ones who are even scared to authenticate themselves... "learn from the master" was obviously ironic and referred to the punisher-thread, meaning all those reviews written for a laugh. I read these reviews purely for entertainment, and I couldn't care less about the value of the album, which could even be a masterpiece, but that's not the point. It's about "taking things lightly every now and then"... it would do you arrogant assholes some good sometimes. Yeah, but if someone touches your favorite band, you feel hit in your pride... poor things who don't even know how to laugh at themselves.
