The "necklace," cordial and very much present Mr. de-Hybris, is likely one of those quite intriguing. Personally, I’m not very excited by the two mentioned groups (Isis: overrated at best)[Aereogramme: nice but not much]{De Stra-Gustibus, let it be clear} but perhaps in de-qombutta they could mutually capture each other's qualities and make them their own: who knows. Well... I wouldn’t know: I feel bad for the two fellow countrymen from Pestilenziali (Foddis and Mameli) but I first listened to this disc at the time of its release and I did not like it at all/absolutely rather yes. Too "light" for those who dared to delve into the darkest corners of death metal, too "heavy" for the fans of regular thrash and the like. But the problem shouldn't be framed exclusively in those terms: the problem is the monothematic nature and lack of ideas that support the whole thing. The subsequent album (Consuming) is already much better. Best regards to all. Y.s.c.d(s)f.
