Orcocan! I drank/read this tome in the night of times: I'm not even sure it was the revised-and-expanded version that you mention. In truth, I had completely forgotten I had done it, and, in fact, I remember (almost) nothing about the events in question or the so-called (not so) unforgettable characters. Anyway, it reminded me of a beautiful moment: despite having not a miserable £ira in my pocket, I had the opportunity to read in total freedom [thanks to the courteous loans from the local library, of course] billions of books & tomes (good & bad) without the stress and rush of the current hyper-contingent times. Or Vuar.

Perhaps because (Justice) seems to have become a true obsession for some very busy Italians lately? The record, or rather the double vinyl, believe me [there was a hellish heat here: it was quite hard to stay within the smoke-filled walls of my home with the stereo blasting: it was, believe me, quite metal-masochistic] I haven’t listened to since '88. Still, I feel I can honestly say that, despite everything, I haven't particularly missed it. On the contrary. And then (allow me, before I leave) "Rust In Peace" by the MegaDead amidst the grim Kingdom of Blood and the Lord of the Puppets does very little for us. Eh.

Regarding four hundred years wasted, if we think that only in 1992, after four centuries of ostracism and condemnation, Pope John Paul II finally had the "courage" to withdraw the Catholic Church's abjuration regarding the scientist Galilei, effectively recognizing the scientific truth of His theories, the mentioned Librorum seems almost like Acqua Fresca (NO!
