I was 13 years old and that cassette arrived in my house, which my parents often listened to. I have a lovely memory of it, especially connected to that time. Perhaps the best track is "Le rondini." The boy on the cover is indeed Dalla, that's well known.

Great review, you're really an expert in the genre. The only ToT song I know is "velvet darkness they fear," and I must say it's a true masterpiece. The next one, "aegis," disappointed me a bit though. After this review, I can't help but listen to this one as well, which seems more in the style of "velvet ..." am I wrong? What I like a lot about them, as you mentioned, are the vocal intertwining "beauty & beast," it's spine-chilling.
