But I just don’t understand you. Or is it me who is strange and doesn’t get a damn thing about music? It's been 2 months since this monstrosity of an album was released, and everyone is giving it high ratings; among other things, dozens of reviews have been written about this crap. Is it debaser that has lost its mind or am I just getting too old for the Muse?

Sarah Records: A GUARANTEE
This review: It will end up forgotten. I’m sorry for you!
Congratulations indeed!
Swervedriver Juggernaut Rides: '89-'98 (Disc 1)

They are not the best shoegaze band around. Also because they are not very shoegaze, let's be honest.
An excellent underrated band pulled from the wizard's hat! Kudos for choosing to review them and kudos for listening to them.

Principles are useful for something here on debaser? wow! Thanks, I'm just reading it now...
Well, you're making me want to start writing again :D
A three of encouragement. Keep it up and improve!
The Boo Radleys Giant Steps

The Boo's are amazing...
anyway, the first two albums have a shoegaze imprint with some experimental flashes. There's no Brit-pop (which, however, comes in full swing in the third album "Wake Up").
The singer's name is 'Sice' anyway...
The review is sufficient in the end...
for me, the album is also worth a 4.
Deerhunter Microcastle/Weird Era Cont.

Perfectly agreed. Microcastle/weird era cont. is one of the most beautiful albums of 2008.
A northern greeting. Always a pleasure to read you.

The Charlatans Simpatico

I haven't reviewed anything in a while. Since my reviews didn't receive much critical attention. But that doesn’t mean I don’t come by to read now and then. Beautiful review for a really good album that was the soundtrack of the summer of 2006.
Well done Grant!!! Excellent!!! The Charlatans are a great band!

@kid b: 1. Long live Radiohead! 2. Early Years, if you’re referring to the band, great debut, if you weren't referring to the band, get the album :)
Super Furry Animals Hey Venus!

Great job Grant! You've perfectly captured the spirit and content of this album in my opinion! Perfect! I really like the SFA. Of course, as my colleague mien_no_man said, there are some songs that always leave me rather indifferent. This album, however, is well done and for me it's a 3.5. Fuzzy Logic was a bit immature perhaps, but still of excellent workmanship. Then there was Radiator, their best album in my opinion. After that, a compilation like Out Spaced and the good Guerrilla, I think in Rings around the World there are a few tracks that clash a bit too much, even Phantom Power clashes a little in certain spots. But then from Love Kraft (2005) to this, the Furries have found a great way to make music without getting lost in unnecessary frills. Perhaps this album isn't a masterpiece because it's missing that "masterpiece song," at least for me. And also because it’s not something taken from who knows where. The influences are there, as you mentioned, and they can be felt! But after all, these forgotten and little-known Welshmen in Italy really know what they're doing. It's worth highlighting an excellent song from this album like Run-Away, with sounds reminiscent of the 50s from those female groups that were so popular at the time. I don't know if you've ever seen Mean Streets or those goodfellas from Scorsese… or have you the soundtrack.
Well, as usual, I've gone on too long. I should get back to writing reviews… even though "often and willingly" no one reads them… but I do it to share the bands I listen to with others. Just for that. Congratulations again anyway Grant ;)
Chris Columbus Harry Potter e la Pietra Filosofale
Voto:
My girlfriend loves Harry Potter. To prepare myself psychologically. And (damn) to at least understand something. I had to immerse myself for 4 weeks, spending Sundays watching the DVDs (of my girlfriend) of the previous films. You might ask, for what? Of course. For the release of the fifth movie!
First point. Radcliffe is not an actor! Radcliffe doesn’t know how to act. He must have been cast solely for the resemblance they wanted to give to the character. There are people in that movie (I’m talking about the kids) who act much better. (See the redhead). Second point. I hate those damn movies with all those magical interventions. A little more realism in the stories and a more thoughtful resolution of problems instead of relying on magic could have made it both a better story and more substantial films. As for the choice of directors... well!... there are some things that really leave much to be desired. So even the director has a hand in it.
