I liked the first album the most out of the three. This one is so-so...

Giov_ risks his life with the Pixies, to whom the site owes its name! Like Kosmo, I will also comment more calmly and coolly.

I largely agree with this review, although I believe that nothing comes even close to Siamese Dream. Of course, listening to this album leaves one a bit perplexed, given the somewhat muffled and soft atmosphere that, when talking about SP, one isn't really accustomed to. However, the listening experience of the latest SP has left me VERY PERPLEXED... or let’s say it left me VERY perplexed. Anyway, is anyone aware of any news regarding new releases?

OK, Tupac is spelled without a "k" but look at the exceptions that go with a "z" and that in correct Italian it’s not "miserissimi" but "miserrimi," it has the same root as "acerrimi" (from the Latin acer / miser). Ill Communication for me is not a rap album. It's an excellent crossover. If it were rap, I would never have bought it; I don’t like rap. Me. There, that's the point. It’s always and only ...de gustibus. I insist: let’s take Paul's Boutique, we can say everything except that it’s rap. The Chemical Brothers, who do everything except rap, were initially called Dust Brothers in honor of the producers of this record. Then copyright reasons forced the British duo to change their name. I know a lot for being a woman, don’t you think?

And what about the RHCP's "Baby appeal"? Or "Uplif mofo party plan"?? Or more recently "can't stop"??? That’s rap too? Nahhh.

"What'cha what'cha what'cha want".... Beautiful the Arabesque refrain. The Beasties are not pure rap. I remind you of "Sabotage," "Lookin' down the burrel of a gun," all the instrumental songs in a seventies style collected in the album The insound from way out, along with their questionable early works. For me, under Rap we can include Public Enemy, Run DMC, Tupac, MC Solar, Guru and his Gangstar. The lyrics and themes addressed are very different.

The review of Evil Empire? RATM aren’t exactly my favorites; as you can see, I didn’t include them in my list, but it could be a nice challenge. I had Hole, Nine Inch Nails, and Sonic Youth on my list first. Going back to the rap discussion, I don’t love the genre, but I don’t consider Zack a rapper, just like I don’t consider Antony Kiedis or the Beastie Boys rappers. Being a rapper, from my point of view, is more of a mental "attitude" than a way of singing. So I don’t have favorite rappers. I don’t like rap. A shout out to "UN RAPPER?" and "I'm biased"; their mediocrity evokes a feeling of compassion...

I saw them on MTV Brand New and I have to say that she really sings like Courtney Love, one of my favorites...
