For Cliffburton86: maybe, as tam says, you are forgivable for what you say because of that "86" at the end of your nickname. As for your opinions on the album, I won't discuss them, de gustibus. I listened to the album on repeat before reviewing it. I also have all the albums by RATM and Soundgarden. I've seen both live. I stand by what I wrote in the review. The 2/5 rating is fair. As for Zac De La Rocha, he was the voice of protest for Rage. Who were you making scream "fuck you I won't do what you tell me"? Fred Durst?? .. a bullet in your fucking head!!

I'm not racing to see who got there first. I was just sharing an anecdote that made even LOR15 smile. I won't argue about The Strokes. I judged them more superficially. Maybe I was wrong, I don't know. They're very young. A bit of a cliché. Can you believe I thought it was an Iggy Pop record and was wondering which one, since I think I have all or almost all of them? Right, no one invents anything. As for Coldplay, I don't know what to say; they continue to leave me indifferent despite the media bombardment we're subjected to. The same goes for Travis and Doves. Ugh... what fatigue.

By the way, I’ve known Radiohead since 08/27/1992. They played at the Underworld in Camden/London as the opening act for Magnapop, a band from Athens/Georgia, friends of Michael Stipe. LOR15 was with me. We were struck by the offbeat guitar in "Creep"; at the first chorus, we thought they had made a mistake. "Pablo's Honey" hadn’t been released yet, and maybe neither had "Creep," I really can’t remember.

..maybe you can't express your ideas, can you? For example: let's not confuse the mainstream with the masses!! mainstream is the leading current of thought. Cesare Cremonini is about as mediocre as it gets in circulation right now (being dragged along, then). As for Coldplay, they bore me more than Radiohead, who at least have the merit of having some ideas (not a lot, but something). Coldplay are absolutely empty. If they had come out in 1991-1994, no one would have considered them, but maybe at that time they were still in middle school.

It's reminiscent of Siamese Dreams. Something maybe even from Gish. For me, it's worth it.

Mr. Iko: even though your unrestrained and genuine passion for music deserves immense respect, there's no denying it.

Mr. Iko: you are too radical. You don't accept thoughts different from your own, even if they are logical and justified. It's you who is losing points now.

Mr. Iko: the comparison to the Beatles seems rather bold to me. We'll know in 30 years if "OK Computer" comes close, when millions of bands around the world will sing with that slurred voice over pseudo-inventions of the psychedelic groups from the '70s reinterpreted. For now, we can only say whether we like it or not. And come on, don't blaspheme by bringing up the Sistine Chapel.... If you want to fill your mouth at all costs with something, at least say it. The Sistine Chapel is to painting what OK Computer is to music? It doesn't hold up... Sorry!

No, testicle! In the kitchen, they’re just messing around. It’s only with motorcycles that they’ve truly outdone and surpassed us. When it comes to wines, there’s no Cote du Rhone that holds a candle: Brunello and Blauburgunder reign supreme!!
