Apulians from Apulia? Oh dear, sometimes when you don’t proofread, you end up writing nonsense. The vote...

Frederick II of Swabia? Really?? I didn't know that. A great man who also ruled Southern Italy, nurturing the idea of reviving the Holy Roman Empire of which he was a direct descendant (his grandfather was Frederick Barbarossa). He welcomed the Saracens, managed to keep the Normans in check, and subdued the barons of Apulia. He encouraged culture and art, restoring and erecting countless castles (including Castel del Monte in Puglia). It seems he was quite the lover, so much so that in Sicily a huge number of children of unknown fathers came to light, mysteriously referred to as Paternò, who were granted enormous parcels of the sovereign's land... A man of another era. Great review. I particularly liked "21st Century Schizoid Man" with those guitars overdubbed 20 times.

"if it were a book..." You remind me of Lucarelli or Fabio De Luigi imitating him on Mai Dire Domenica. Nice performance, anyway. If it were a movie? If it were a piece of clothing?

I read somewhere that Jack White was sued for beating up the leader of the VB. He allegedly said he did it "to defend my moral integrity and image."

Dear Fosca and everyone else. I admit, I may have gone a bit overboard. I was in a phase where I couldn't stand the cheap imitations of Ride, especially since I still haven't come to terms with their miserable end. The album left me quite indifferent; I found some excellent mannerism but very few ideas. And as always happens, when you trash an album, you always find someone who showers you with insults (not you, Fosk) and says you don't understand anything. That's life.....
