R.E.M. Automatic For The People

A review that, aside from the enthusiasm, doesn't say much about the album. Still, it also took courage to make an album like this after the global success of "Losing my religion."
Lou Reed Ecstasy
Voto:
I have EVERYTHING by Lou Reed, but I have to say that the last two albums (this one and "The raven") have quite bored me, and I've always listened to them sparingly; it seems to me there's not much memorable. The rant about Bono, Vedder, and company, however, is totally justified.

No, "Polvere" is about the next one titled just "Polvere". Here the "lead" track was "Senorita".
Vasco Rossi Gli Spari Sopra

Well, come on, this album wasn't that bad, there were at least a few decent songs...
Statuto Canzonissime

It may be that other reviews have come out better for me, but what interested me the most was to highlight the release of this reissue, since the disinterest for this group in various mainstream media (from TV to newspapers) is grotesque and, at least in my opinion, absolutely unjustified.
The Velvet Underground White Light/White Heat
Voto:
Fortunately, a record like this came out at a time when musicians were allowed to be bold, so even we today could enjoy both The Velvet Underground and Lou Reed and John Cale. If it were released today, with the shitty record executives around, very few would have the chance to listen to it.
John Cale Paris 1919

How could two such larger-than-life personalities like John Cale and Lou Reed get along?
Equipe 84 I Grandi Successi Originali
Voto:
In my opinion, Lucio Battisti sang his songs not better, but with a different feeling compared to Equipe 84, Lallo from Dik Dik, and Gabriele Lorenzi from Formula 3, and so on. In this case, however, Vandelli shone for a certain acuity in the arrangements, which were very different from Battisti's. I remember a statement from Vandelli regarding Battisti: "It was like listening to Radio Luxembourg with all those new songs coming from America and England. Only we found ourselves in the position to choose them. We would say: we're missing a piece, let's do this. No, wait, let's try this one too. No, and better this other one. It was exciting."

The little I've heard is worth a 5.
Anna Oxa Processo A Me Stessa

I had seen her by chance in some news coverage in the days after (I don't watch the Festival, and certainly not out of snobbery). She looked like Morticia Addams on acid.
