Well, PasMal, you have two EPs that are among the best things produced by the trio. If you want long breaths, I am on the "TREASURE" side; if you want to continue with short breaths, AIKEA GUINEA won't let you down. If you then prefer even more ethereal forms, "The moon and the melodies" by Harold Budd, but with the CT, should be collected.

Here I am again after listening to it several times. Well, yes, I confirm the overall quality. Some tracks like "in deep sea" and "with the passing of the seasons" are of haunting beauty. Others are less successful, but the average is high. Then, as I scroll through the credits, I come across names I recognize. I find musicians I saw, both on and off the stage of "my" club. In the ramblas of Barcelona during Sonar. Curious about different genres, different situations, different experiences. I find the red thread that connects everything to an album as beautiful as this one.
Jazzanova The Remixes 2002-2005

How the Germans (Compost, Sonar, Infracom, etc.) have managed to produce so many excellent works balancing between jazz, electronic, and dance remains, for me, a mystery. Jazzanova is one of the peaks of this movement that has now become a retrospective.

So true, Renzo. Back then, every one of their releases was an epiphany. For critics and listeners alike. Alessandro Calovolo's reviews in Rockerilla were worth more than 100 literary pages. Pure poetry and passion. I found that, in part, in the writings of JohnOfPatmos right here on Debaser. Listening to the CTs now evokes a nostalgia that is, after all, a necessary sentiment.

Since I consider Gilberto's Tanto tempo a gem, this proposal intrigues me greatly. Can you provide some samples?

It's a daunting task to find the pinnacle of a group like this, dear Renzo. Your certainties are influenced by memories and subjective emotions. For me, the magical period begins with "Heads over heels," reaches its peak with the subsequent "Treasure," and I add the swan song of "Heaven or Las Vegas."

Hi Einstein, due to work commitments I'm struggling to write something. I've received some records and maybe... Rather, aren't you adding anything anymore?
Danny Elfman Batman Returns - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Voto:
Yes, the latest Batman isn't bad. Nothing compared to Burton's two visionary and unrepeatable films. In reality, HAL, the figure of the Dark Knight from Miller, is reflected in Batman's work. Burton himself made the source explicit, namely the comic that revolutionized the genre, "The Dark Knight Returns." After that, I still hold hopes that Gilliam can realize his dream, which is the cinematic version of "Watchmen," and then we could say if there will truly be nothing left after this.
Pixies Doolittle
Voto:
As soon as this album was released, they went on a mini-tour in little Italian venues that gave you goosebumps. Memorable both live and on record, even though after Doolittle their decline began. If you wanted to differentiate your excellent review from the ones already out there, you could say something about the individual musicians. For example, about Kim Deal, the bassist, the hidden genius of the group, who also fronts another great band called the Breeders.

Does the little monkey on the cover have any similarities with Doolittle's from the Pixies? I think so, both look like they're going crazy.
