I started watching the reviewed show (it's available on YouTube with Italian subtitles): frankly, it seems quite entertaining to me (considering that it's about a show - as I understood - from about twenty years ago...). From here to calling it "hero" seems to me frankly quite a stretch, but maybe it's because I don't know the character well enough. A little service note: the sketch about the warnings on cigarette packs (something like: "Just buy those with the warning about premature birth...") was heavily plundered by Albanese in his show "Uomo" a few years later.

I don't know who they are, but the page is very, very beautiful. Congratulations. I think I'll add it to my favorites.

Uhhh... I actually rented this at the video store! Something like 4 euros for two days... do video stores even exist anymore?! Anyway: she’s really into it (at least that’s how I remember it), but the movie is pretty bad. Now I’m not sure which came first, but I think back then there was already a whole craze of vampire mania between Van Helsing and Wesley Snipes as the vampire with sunglasses (I can’t remember his name). I didn’t even know there were sequels. I'm going to rent them right away!

"If you're familiar with the magazine, I believe it's impossible not to have noticed evident distortions of judgment, blatant softening of criticisms, or always very diplomatic reviews." Let's say I more or less agree. As I mentioned, there are some reviewers who, in my opinion, write well or, in any case, in a way I like (and I'm talking about style, not judgments). There are some sections that are quite interesting. But, above all, it's the magazine that more than any other talks (in the sense of highlighting/giving space) to the genres/bands I listen to. However, there is a big problem of unreliability in judgments/ratings that - in my view - connects to another aspect that perhaps I've only noticed, but maybe not: Sorge's mono-mania. I've been reading Rumore for about a couple of years: until a few months ago, if any album sounded more or less stoner or more or less seventies, it was automatically showers of praise that stained the pages (just to give an example, the overly effusive Ancestors). For some time now, it seems that everything revolves around a kind of neo-black metal scene with free jazz influences that just by reading the interviews makes me want to scratch my nuts a bit. I've been told that years ago, Sorge had an intense fixation on nu-metal, so there was a lot of nu-metal in every issue. Let’s just say it’s not exactly read for its objectivity of judgment.

@Geb: I confess that I know very little about the reviewer Blatto, mainly because he usually doesn't cover the genres/bands I listen to. Typically, the things that interest me are reviewed either by Sorge himself, or by the good Cerati, or by a certain "Lys" Dimauro (who, probably, remains my favorite in terms of "style": a bit visionary, with plenty of metaphors... reminds me of certain things from the debaserian Antmo!). Let’s just say that that whole ranking of the "100 most influential albums of the 2000s" had some... um... "distortions." For example: High On Fire with Blessed Black Wings even at 9th place, The White Stripes with Elephant at 5th, Black Mountain with In The Future at 7th, the Blue Record by Baroness... However, I believe these are "distortions" that are somewhat inevitable when trying to make certain lists.

Oh my God, how slow... you must have taken half an hour to write this mess. I bet you read it over 10 times. The result? "come and tell me that I’m stuck with Hai tarzanelli"!:D. "then you can argue as much as you want, but you remain a radical chic" And who argued back, dumb ass?! You think I care about responding to this nonsense! And besides, how boring: we're not talking about anything, we're not fighting about anything. You say things that nobody cares about. And on top of that, you’re tedious. I’m sorry, dear, but either you find me something a little more entertaining or this time I’m done. bye bye

"Handle with care"?! Where did I write that?! What are you talking about?! We just started, and you're already flipping out! Come on, the afternoon is long: if you keep this up, it'll be over too quickly! And besides, you don't even need to meet someone to figure out if they're not very bright! In fact, it's just another demonstration of how slow you are: you need to meet someone to know if they're dull, while I just need to read their (in this case, your) comments.

@Paolo-cerebro: to tell the truth, I don't buy it (I didn't say "I bought Rumore"). To be honest, I don't remember the names of the reviewers by heart (I had to check). But just think about it, do I really need to justify myself on how 1) I spend my money; 2) the magazines I read; 3) the judgment I have on the magazines I read! :D You're off track: you're clinging to a minor point to make a fuss, and you’re coming off as a bit slow (just to change things up...) @Panico: you got it, right?!? "the jacket is a rhetorical figure!" :D

Hey, hey! My little jacket is a gem! I can practically wear it in any situation and be sure to be dressed inappropriately. In the history of humanity, only espadrilles had this superpower! @Paolo: man, you're such a slowpoke. You don't really need to memorize the names of the reviewers. Just check at the end of an article if someone asks you. I get that for you this task is on the same level as quantum mechanics, but for any primate, I’d say it’s just ordinary business.
